Description:
For those who may not have seen this program before or are just learning how to set an aural temperament we will focus on “laying the bearings” with Virgil Smith’s tuning sequence. It’s an inspired method developed by Virgil employing m3rd’s and M3rd’s and how they relate to P4th’s and P5th’s, as well as M6th’s – with an understanding of what happens when any of these intervals are expanded or contracted in equal temperament.
